Can you believe it's been a year since my last post about handbags and how much has changed in my life since then. But as you will see from this post, my preference for purses seem to revolve around the same key designers and styles.

Want it Wednesday: Things I'm saving up for in 2014
Another year has gone by and I am much more wiser. This year, I have promised myself to save my money for biggest splurges on items that will last me longer rather than little things here and there. Here is the very condense version of my most wanted list for 2014.
Feel free to donate to my fashion fund.... just kidding. But I am determined to acquire at least one item on this list. Wish me luck? (Update June 2016: no luck yet.....)
Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100, $625
Givenchy Small Antigona, $2810
Louis Vuitton Vernis Zippy Wallet, $920

Burberry Trench Coat, $1495

Want it Wednesday: Fall/Winter handbag
I recently had the realization that my wardrobe is seriously lacking handbags. I have enough clothes to go months without repeating an outfit and more shoes than a normal girl needs. But the handbag department is close to extinction. I think it's because I'm especially picky when it comes to bags and will only settle for designer. I thought my RM 5-zip would work for fall/winter but it honestly looks a little off paired with thicker coats and jackets. Also the light blue colour just doesn't work with my more darker and neutral outfits for this season. I'm looking for a bag that is casual enough to be worn outside of work but a little larger than what I typically go for. As for the colour, it should lie in the black-grey-navy-brown family. This bag needs to have a longer strap so it can be worn as a shoulder bag, crossbody, or at the crock of your arm. I think it's time to officially start my purse fund, maybe in time to treat myself to a nice *little* Christmas present.

Anyways, It's been a long day and I'm tired but I still wanted to get a post up. I hope you guys don't mind the lack of writing. You know what they say, a picture is worth thousand words.

Want It Wednesday: Accessories
Some people go to work because they have a family to take care of, a point to prove, to help others or for self accomplishment. I go to work because at the end of the day, I feel justified wanting the things I want and the buying the things I want. I know how materialistic that sounds but it's still motivation and at least I'm not sitting at home wasting my life away. Being the most indecisive person in the world, my wishlist changes way too frequently which is why I'm usually reluctant to buy something expensive unless its been idling on my list for a significant amount of time.

Givenchy Antigona (buy here)
Chunky Knit Scarfs (buy at Zara)
Wearing a scarf is always associated with this warm fuzzy feeling that builds inside me. My favourite type of scarves are the huge knit ones; the chunkier, the better. I feel like they add interest to an attire and pulls the look together.
Wilfred Carmen Beanie
Dogeared Pendant Necklace
I'm a firm believer of karma, which may or may not be the only "force" I truly believe in but that's not the sole reason why I love this necklace. I think the collarbones are the most beautiful part of the a woman's body and a dainty chain necklace only enhances that beauty.
Tiffany's Atlas Hinged Bangle
So I have yet to decide if I want to do Want It Wednesdays in categories or just random items that I want at the time. If I had time, I would love to share all the things on my wishlist and hope to eventually relieve some of that longing.

WANT: Louis Vuitton
I've always been a fan of Louis Vuitton. In fact, it was the designer that opened my eyes to the world of luxury fashion. The thing about LV is that there are some items that I drool over while there are others that makes me wonder how anyone would buy such monstrosity. I used to be obsessed with the Damier Ebene pattern and while it is still my preferred canvas, I now tend towards Epi or Vernis leather. To speak of it, I absolutely despise the monogram canvas. If was ever gifted any item with the monogram canvas, I'd throw it back at their face or sell it. But since I'm feeling extra positive today, I'm only going to share with you my top Louis Vuitton picks if a couple thousands dollars magically appeared in my wallet.
I've been eyeing this bag before Louis Vuitton even released this design. I remember telling me friend how if LV ever came out with an Epi leather Neverfull, it would buy it without thinking. When I finally got to see and try on the bag in person and I was impressed but not completely sold due to a couple of reasons. First, the price tag at around a ridiculous 2Gs. Another thing that turned me off from this bag is the pochette that comes with it. Since I already own the Pochette Accessories in the same black Epi leather, I have no need or desire for another. Also, the Michael Kors Jet set Tote is almost identical in structure but about the quarter of the price. Finally, I'm still not comfortable with the fact that this bag only has a single latch closure and no zipper. Nevertheless, I still really love the look of this bag and its versatility. It looks even nicer in the indigo colour.
I just can't get enough of crossbody LVs. The Monceau BB is the perfect size for on the go and can be easily dressed up or down. I love the patent leather finish and this pinky-nude colour is perfection.
Before writing this post, I always thought there was an endless list of items I want from LV. But after thinking about it, these items are basically the only goodies I would spend my money on or want to be gifted. I feel like LV is trying too hard to increase their luxury standings and attempting to compete with the prices of Hermes and Chanel. In fact, they even publicly announced this strategy shift to attract higher-end customers. Am I the only one who thinks that is absolutely ridiculous and just goes to show how shallow society is. The inflated prices definitely do not make me to think "oh LV is becoming more exclusive so I should buy more bags" but it does make me consider purchasing some of the items I've been wanting now before prices go even higher. What do you guys think?
