Trendy Thursday: Orange You Glad It's Finally Spring

HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE! I can't believe it's finally here although it's still below freezing point and we're expecting flurries today in Southern Ontario. If it's gloomy where you live, I hope this post will liven up  your day. If you are living in a warm climate area, I envy your life. Anyways, I have 3 words for you winter: CAN YOU NOT.

Orange is a colour that is generally associated with spring and summer and might just be the trendiest colour of the season. I find that it is very flattering on different skin tones, with slight adjustments to the shade of orange. To put this in perspective, people with fair skin look better in lighter end of the range and deeper complexions look amazing in rich and deep tones. I also think that any shade of orange pairs beautifully with any blue hue, including denim, since they are considered complimentary colours.

This bright tangerine colour seems to be very trendy this season as Zara has dedicated an entire category in its honour.
